Problem with Anime in Japan?

Wow.

I was finishing up a blog entry for my Panic Hotel Blog when I read another WordPress blog concerning a problem in Japan concerning Anime and a very horrible crime.

In the WordPress blog, located here, it stated that horrible murders have been commited, and they are related to anime.  This is just horrible.

It almost sounds as if, though, that blame is being shifted to this particular anime that the murders were based off of.  Granted, the murders are similar to that of what the anime depicts, but yet, you really shouldn’t blame that anime.  At least, not in whole.  Blame the one who couldn’t control themselves and took that anime to the extreme by imitating it.

Look at the Colombine massacure that took place years ago.  The idiot kids who did it mentioned the fps PC game, Doom, as inspiration for the violence.  Many people pointed to that game, and violent games in general as a huge reason why these things took place.

I’m sure that the games gave the kids some violent ideas and thoughts, but in order to do what they did, it takes more than a game (or anime, or any show or movie for that mattoer) to make a person snap and kill people.  The people wo do these horrible things are more disturbed than alot of us normal people.

I’ve looked at one of the links from the blog entry that I speak of, and it contains things, just horrible, horrible things that I do not want anybody to see (unless you have a stomach of iron).  These are examples of people who take things like their love (or in this case obsession) of things, like anime, a way way to far.  Just sick.

Don’t blame the animes, movies, games, etc…..blame the people who did the crimes.

Anyway, that was my rant for the day.  This, I suppose, would be my first ever rant on this blog.  I hope it wasn’t too much of a change for you readers.  ^_^;;

    Ranting is good sometimes, especially when you can save some lost souls. Well done!

    It would actually make sense if the guy wasn’t lying and making crap up in the first place.
