Wolfenstien and DOOM!

Well, I know it’s been a while since my last posting, so I thought I’d come out and say “hi!!”  If any of you remember a previous post I did about the trial version of Doom I dled on the Xbox 360, I would like to expand a bit based on that particular blog posting.

A few weeks ago, on June 12th to be exact, I bought, for five bucks on the Playstation Store, Wolfenstien 3D.  I certainly have been having fun with that game, despite it’s age.  It’s a classic title man.  Just classic.  I think it helps that there is trophy support on it too, which does help me want to play through the game and get the trophies.  It very well could be my next game to get 100% for trophies, while the other game being Flower.  I even own the original full version of the game for the PC, but I never beat it beyond playing through the first episode, Escape From Wolfenstien.  But at this point, I’m already about mid way through the fifth episode.  Forgive me, for I’ve forgotten the name of that one.  Anyway.

It’s funny how I’ve played this version of the game more thoroughly than I ever have on the pc.  I think  it’s the trophy support and the controls that I like about it that make me want to continue playing it.

Now, at this point, I can get around to getting to the point of this posting.  I would hope, that after seeing the release of Wolfenstien 3D on both Xbox 360 and PS3, I do hope they release the original Doom titles for the PS3.  I know the 360 has the game already, I just hope they put it out on the PS3.  That would rock socks!  I had alot of fun with Wolfenstien so far, I think Doom would be even better, especially if they do something similar to what they did on the 360.  Adding local and online multiplayer and enhanced graphics and textures.  Here’s keeping my fingers crossed.

Anyhow, catch you all later dawgs, puppies and whatever else is out there!
